What does diet mean for you?
a- Not to eat and starve myself.

Do you expect your diet to be successful, if so why? If not why?
yes, because I have to for my health

Have you ever managed to lose weight, but then gain again? If yes, why and how did you get back some of the weight?
I lost 70 lbs on a strict calorie counting low fat diet. it was murderously difficult and then I piled it on again over the next ten years

What are you observing in other dieters as mistakes?
cheating becomes a way of life

too much attention paid to low fat advice , it ruined my taste buds and my health

If you never managed to get thin until now, why do you think? A criticizing mother? Pizza Hut?
no stop button, love the taste of fatty foods and feel so guilty when I eat them I give up altogether - not this time- this time I'm going to try a low carb high fat diet.
Ive gone from 115 to 107 so far, nothing like the cravings and much nicer food.

How should your close ones treat you as a dieter? Should they better be quiet on the subject, or should they push you?
better to leave me to it. only self motivation works

If you are living with others, how do you handle the problem of you having special diet meals while others have their usual meals?
i jsut eat my stuff and let everyone else get on with theirs

How do you cope with eating less? For some people it really hurts and is like hell. For some others, they enjoy the light feeling. How about you?
no real hunger pangs on low carb diet, 0n low fat diet it hurt like hell.

low fat can be done, but god its hard compared to low carb

so far low fat is going very well, almost to the point of not needing to eat at all

Where do you stand on the subject of exercise?
one should try to get in more exercise, but simple walking is a great start

Is there anything you`d care to say about diets?
i think the entire western world has been put on a disastrous course by food companies.
My advice would be only eat what is recognisable as an original ingredient, nothing processed.
